The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Renewal Course is designed for current healthcare providers and professionals who need to renew their BLS Provider certification before it expires. This streamlined class reviews and refreshes essential life-saving skills, ensuring participants remain confident and competent in responding to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Course Focus Includes: • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) • Effective ventilation with barrier devices and bag-mask techniques • Team dynamics and communication in multi-rescuer resuscitation • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest • Relief of choking in all age groups Format: • The renewal course is shorter than the initial certification class (typically around 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on class size and participant skill level). • Participants must hold a current (not expired) AHA BLS Provider card to be eligible. • Includes skills practice and a hands-on skills test, along with a written exam. Certification: • Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard.

(AVAILABILITY IS NOT PROMISED) - All communication has to be done via email. Since we teach courses, we might not be able to reply to emails immediately, but they will be answered within 24 hours. - Rescheduling may be done via email cpr@sheehnaslifesavers.com - Sheehna’s Life Savers reserves the right to cancel a class due to weather conditions, low enrollment, or any uncontrollable circumstances. We will make an effort to provide another date for students to choose from should this occur. - Participants are required to complete the online training BEFORE the in-person skill-based class. Participants must provide proof of completion upon arrival. - If participants arrive to class without completing the online course they will not be able to attend class that day. And will have to book another class for another date.
